Double Degree Programme (Renewable Speciality)
Definition
The Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering curriculum consists of 120 ECTS (4 full time semesters).
A Double Degree Programme means obtaining two Master’s Degree certificates, studying 2 semesters at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – Barcelona Tech (60 ECTS) and 2 semesters in another university (60 ECTS) with previous acceptance, in the frame of a “Double Degree Programme”, by the receiving institution.
Information
The Double Degree agreement for the Master's Degree in Energy Engineering with a specialisation in Renewable Energies has been set up by the UPC and l'École Polytechnique (l'X).
This agreement is only addressed to the students taking "Diplôme d'ingénieur - Ingénieur Polytechnicien" at l’X and the Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering with a specialisation in Renewable Energies at the UPC. The courses at l'X will be taught in English. The UPC students will obtain both the UPC and the l’X degrees (Renewable Energy Science and Technology – REST). The students could also apply for the Erasmus+ grant.
Remarks: The students who do not take a Double Degree Programme could apply for an exchange mobility semester at any of our partner universities, in the frame of the Erasmus+ programme. The exchange usually takes place during the third semester and/or the fourth semester for the Master's Thesis.
For further information, please contact the International Mobility Office.
Places
The number of places is limited to 4 students per year.
